The designer<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Saskia Nooij is a designer and driving force behind Kywie. She had been walking around for a while with her idea of \u200b\u200bmaking a bottle cooler out of sheepskin. In 2013, after a career in food & beverage, she introduced the most sustainable way of keeping bottles at even temperature. Love for cool white wine and the need for beautiful and lasting products resulted in the design of the first Kywie wine cooler<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since then Holland, and now the world, is quickly tapping into the new way of wine drinking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The product<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

For the most part the coolers are hand made in the Netherlands from a local breed called Texel sheep. Working with a natural bio-degradable material and keeping the foot print to a bare minimum, is a vital part of the philosophy of Kywie<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The wine cooler even became second place in the Volkskrant wine cooling test! Kywie is really not the average beverage cooler as you can see. There are 5 models: champagne, wine and sleeves (for all traditional bottles), demi for 500ml bottles, koozie and key ring (for all 330 ml cans, baby bottles and tea \/ coffee glasses).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Praise about quality and design<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

With the praise of wine critics in their pocket, publications in various magazines and the first purchases soon followed. The Kywie wine cooler sells itself. None other than Harold Hamersma and Hubrecht Duijker wrote positive reviews about the Kywie wine coolers. About the quality of insulating the temperature of the wine and about the design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
